Nit Clean 500 mg 12 tablets

Nit Klin is a broad-spectrum antiprotozoal and anthelmintic agent. It is used to treat infections caused by various intestinal parasites and protozoa.

Composition (per 1 tablet):

• Nitazoxanide — 500 mg

Pharmacological properties:

• It is active against protozoan parasites (for example, lamblia, amoebas, cryptosporidia), as well as some intestinal helminths.
• Disrupts the parasite's energy metabolism, blocking the enzymatic processes necessary for its vital activity.
• Due to the peculiarities of the mechanism of action, nitazoxanide remains effective even when parasites are resistant to other drugs.
• Additionally, it exhibits antiviral activity - can be used for rotavirus and norovirus infections of the gastrointestinal tract.
• It acts locally in the intestine, practically not being absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, which reduces the risk of systemic side effects.

Indications for use:

• Giardiasis
• Cryptosporidiosis
• Amebiasis
• Helminthiasis (including ascariasis, ancylostomiasis and trichuriasis)
• Possible adjuvant treatment of viral gastroenteritis

Method of administration:

For adults and children over 12 years old:
• 1 tablet (500 mg) 2 times a day during meals
• Course of treatment: usually 3 days (may vary as prescribed by a doctor)
