Composition:

Each tablet contains:

•  Flubendazole — 100 mg

Pharmacological properties:

Flubendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic drug from the benzimidazole group:

1. Mechanism of action:

• Disrupts the metabolism of helminths (inhibits tubulin synthesis)
• Causes the death of parasites by depleting glycogen reserves
2. Spectrum of activity:
• Pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis)
• Ascaris (Ascaris lumbricoides)
• Whipworms, hookworms and other intestinal nematodes

Indications for use:

• Enterobiasis (pinworms)
• Ascariasis
• Trichuriasis
• Ancylostomiasis
• Mixed helminthic invasions

Method of application and Dosage:

Adults and children 12 years and older: 1 tablet orally once a day for 3 days. Children under 12 years: The dose depends on weight and should be determined by a doctor.

• The tablet can be chewed or swallowed with water
• No special diet or laxative is required.
