Composition:
Each 100 ml of syrup contains:
Guaifenazine 1 g
Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 100 mg
Oxeladine citrate 200 mg.
Auxiliary components:
Dibasic sodium phosphate, anhydrous citric acid. sucrose, sorbitol 70%, sodium benzoate, yellow FOC # 6, peach flavor, propylene glycol, ethanol, purified water.
Properties:
NEO-BRONHOFAN is a well-tolerated, balanced formula that acts as an expectorant and soothing cough suppressant. It contains guaifenazine, oxeladine citrate, diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
Guaifenesin increases the concentration of fluid in the respiratory tract, helping to thin and reduce the viscosity of phlegm. If the phlegm is not removed, it can promote bacterial grow and make breathing difficult.
Diphenhydramine is a sedative antihistamine with anemic properties. It is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic conditions, including rhinitis. It has pronounced central sedative properties and is a frequent ingredient in complex preparations for the symptomatic treatment of coughs and colds.
Oxeladine citrate has a selective effect on the cough center. Has no chemical similarity to opioid drugs. In therapeutic doses, it does not suppress the respiratory center, helps to normalize breathing. Does not cause drowsiness. Does not affect intestinal motility.
NEO-BRONHOFAN syrup provides a full spectrum of therapeutic action against cough, promotes tracheobronchial secretion, relieves bronchospasm in asthmatic bronchitis, and also helps control unproductive dry cough.
Indications:
- Acute and chronic bronchitis
- Asthmatic bronchitis
- Cough associated with the common cold.
Method of administration and dosage:
Children over 6 years old:
1/2 teaspoon 3-4 times a day.
Adults:
1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day.
Contraindications:
- Increased sensitivity to the drug
- Porphyria
- Children under 6 years old.
Precautions:
You should not drive a car, the drug will make you drowsy.
Side effects:
