Panadol Cold & Flu Day 24 tablets
Composition:
Paracetamol 500 mg, caffeine 25 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg.
Excipients:
Starch, povidone, potassium sorbate, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, talc, microcrystalline cellulose.
Description:
Panadol Cold & Flu Day is a combination medicine for relieving cold and flu symptoms. It has antipyretic, analgesic, and mild stimulant effects, reduces nasal congestion, swelling, and inflammation of the nasopharyngeal mucosa. Onset of action — 20–30 minutes, duration — 4–4.5 hours.
Indications:
Common cold, influenza, acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) with fever, headache, body aches, nasal congestion, and runny nose.
Dosage:
Adults: 1–2 tablets up to 4 times daily. Maximum dose — not more than 8 tablets per 24 hours.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to components. Concurrent use of tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, beta-blockers. Pregnancy and lactation. Children under 6 years old.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, benign hyperbilirubinemia, and in elderly patients. Prolonged use of paracetamol requires blood and liver function monitoring.
Adverse effects:
Rare: dyspepsia, hepatotoxicity at high doses. Hematological disorders (thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis). Allergic reactions: rash, itching, urticaria.
Storage conditions:
Store below 30 °C, in a dry place.
