Composition:

Each p / o tablet contains:

Cytirizine dihydrochloride – 10mg.

Auxiliary components: dried lactose spray, corn starch, talc, colloidal silicon dioxide (Acrosil 200), magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 102), crospovidone, white Opadry OY-LS-28908.

Properties:

Cetirizine dihydrochloride is a histamine antagonist, a metabolite of hydroxyzine, and blocks HI-histamine receptors. It prevents the development and facilitates the course of allergic reactions, has antipruritic and antiexudative action. Reduces capillary permeability, prevents the development of tissue edema, relieves spasm of smooth muscles. In therapeutic doses, it practically does not cause sedation.

Indications:

For adults and children over 6 years of age, for the relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of

seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. For the treatment of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Mode of application:

the tablets are swallowed whole with enough liquid. Dose: 10 mg (1 tablet) once a day.

Contraindications:

children under 6; hypersensitivity to the active substance, any of the other components in the composition, to hydroxyzine or any piperazine derivatives. Patients with severe renal impairment. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, glucosegalactose malabsorption. Pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

Do not drink alcohol during treatment. Caution should be exercised in patients with predisposing factors of urinary retention (eg, spinal cord injury, prostatic hyperplasia), since cetirizine may increase the risk of urinary retention. Caution is recommended in patie with epilepsy and in patients at risk of seiz

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C in a dry place out of the reach of children.
