Trijenda is an antispasmodic agent that regulates the motility of the gastrointestinal tract. It is used for functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including irritable bowel syndrome and spastic pain.
Composition:
• Trimebutine maleate – 200 mg
Pharmacological properties:
• Regulates peristalsis of the stomach and intestines
• Has a moderate analgesic and antispasmodic effect
• Affects the enkephalinergic system of the gastrointestinal tract
• Helps with both hyperperistalsis and hypoperistalsis
Indications for use:
• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
• Functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (bloating, pain, constipation, diarrhea)
• Functional dyspepsia
• Gastrointestinal spasms of various etiologies
Method of administration and dosage:
• Adults: 1 tablet (200 mg) 2-3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals
• Duration of treatment depends on the diagnosis and individual response
• Swallow tablets whole, washed down with water
