Indications for use:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Erosive esophagitis
Stomach and duodenal ulcers
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions
Helicobacter pylori eradication (as part of combination therapy)
Method of administration and dosage:
Pantoprazole dosage for adults
Doses depend on the specific disease:
Disease Pantoprazole dosage
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) 40 mg orally once a day for 8-16 weeks, or 40 mg intravenously once a day for 7-10 days, then switch to taking tablets
Erosive esophagitis 40 mg orally once a day for 8–16 weeks, then maintenance dose — 40 mg orally once a day, or 40 mg intravenously once a day for 7–10 days, then switch to tablets
Zollinger–Ellison syndrome 40 mg orally once a day, if necessary up to 240 mg per day, or 80 mg intravenously every 8–12 hours for up to 7 days, then switch to tablets
Gastric ulcer (off-label) 40 mg orally once a day for 4 weeks
Duodenal ulcer (off-label) 40 mg orally once a day for 2 weeks

The dosage depends on age and body weight:
