Composition:

Inactive ingredients:

Propylene glycol, plight liquid paraffin, cetomacrogol 1000, cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, propylparaben base, benzoic acid, EDTA disodium, disodium hydrogen phosphate, purified water

Properties: 

Adapalene is a retinoid metabolite, has comedonolytic and anti-inflammatory activity, normalizes the processes of keratinization and epidermal differentiation. The mechanism of action of adapalene is based on interaction with specific receptors of epidermal skin cells. As a result of the action of adapalene, in particular, there is a decrease in the “cohesion” of epithelial cells at the mouth of the sebaceous hair follicle and a decrease in the prerequisites for the formation of microcomedones. Adapalene has an anti-inflammatory effect in vivo and in vitro, acting on inflammatory factors by inhibiting the migration of leukocytes in the focus of inflammation and the metabolism of arachidonic acid. 

Indications: 

Acne treatment. 

Dosage and administration: 

With a light touch, evenly apply the cream to the affected surface once a day before going to bed on clean, dry skin, avoiding contact with eyes and lips. 

The therapeutic effect develops after 4-8 weeks of treatment, stable improvement after 3 months of treatment. 

In some cases, due to short-term skin irritation, the number of applications may be reduced or treatment may be suspended until signs of irritation disappear. 

A second course of treatment is possible after consultation with a doctor. 

Side effects: 

Irritation of the skin (treatment should be suspended until the disappearance of skin irritation or reduce the frequency of application). 

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of the drug.

Warnings and precautions: 

Avoid getting the cream in the eyes, lips and mucous membranes. 

In case of accidental contact of the drug with the mucous membranes of the eyes, mouth or nose, rinse thoroughly with warm water. 

Avoid direct sunlight, because. slight skin irritation may occur. Treatment can be continued if solar exposure is kept to a minimum (use of sunglasses and hats). 

The simultaneous use of cosmetics with a drying or irritating effect on the skin (for example, perfumes or alcohol-containing products) is not recommended. 

Adapalene applied to the skin in the evening can be combined with acne medications used in the morning.
