Each 5 ml of syrup contains:

dry extract from ivy leaves (6:1) 35.0 mg

Properties:

Cough syrup Kifpan with ivy extract is a preparation of plant origin, contains glycosidic saponins, which cause antitussive, expectorant, antispasmodic and antimicrobial effects. Reduces the viscosity of sputum, facilitates its discharge.

Indications:

Used as an expectorant for productive coughs. Symptomatic treatment of cough in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.

Dosage and administration:

Children over 2 years of age take 1/2 teaspoon orally 3 times a day.

Contraindications:

Children’s age up to 2 years.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects:

Often: gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain). Infrequently: disorders of the immune system: allergic reactions on the skin (urticaria, skin rash, rosacea) and systemic allergic reactions such as shortness of breath and Quincke’s edema.
