Composition:
Vitamin D3 10000 IU.
Excipients:
Mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium croscarmellose, magnesium stearate.
Description:
Sanzo D3 replenishes vitamin D3 deficiency, regulates calcium-phosphorus metabolism, enhances calcium and phosphate absorption in the intestines and their reabsorption in the kidneys. It contributes to bone mineralization, skeletal and dental development in children, and is essential for the normal function of the parathyroid glands.
Properties:
Supports normal calcium-phosphorus balance. Strengthens bones and teeth. Used for prevention and treatment of vitamin D3 deficiency-related conditions.
Indications:
Prevention and treatment of rickets. Prevention of vitamin D3 deficiency in high-risk groups (malabsorption, chronic GI diseases, biliary cirrhosis, post-gastrectomy or intestinal resection). Supportive therapy for osteoporosis. Treatment of osteomalacia, hypoparathyroidism, and pseudohypoparathyroidism. Recommended as an additional source of vitamin D3 in case of deficiency.
Dosage:
Oral administration. Dosage determined by a physician depending on diagnosis and calcium level. In hypoparathyroidism and pseudohypoparathyroidism: 1–2 tablets (10 000–20 000 IU) daily. Regular monitoring of blood calcium is required.
Contraindications:
Hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D3, renal osteodystrophy with hyperphosphatemia, calcium nephrolithiasis, hypersensitivity, thyrotoxicosis.
Precautions:
Use only under medical supervision of blood and urine calcium levels. Overdose possible, especially in children. Prolonged use of high doses may cause chronic hypervitaminosis D3. Sensitivity to vitamin D3 varies; some patients may react even to therapeutic doses. This product is not a medicinal drug for self-administration without medical advice.
Adverse effects:
Allergic reactions, hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, loss of appetite, polyuria, constipation, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, increased blood pressure, arrhythmia, renal dysfunction, exacerbation of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Storage conditions:
Store below 30 °C in a dry place.
