Composition:
Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
Calcium deepionate monohydrate 770 mg (Equivalent to 50.55 mg elemental calcium)
Cholecalciferol oil (vitamin D3) 0.4 mg
(Equivalent to vitamin D3 400 IU)
Vitamin B12 (cyanocoblamin) 1.4 mcg
Indications for use:
Food supplement containing calcium, vitamin D3 and vitamin B12.
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
- Children (3 to 12 years old): 1/2 teaspoon daily.
Adults: one teaspoon a day.
The pedical can be taken by adding the dose to milk or water.
Precautions:
- Contraindicated in patients with elevated blood galactose.
-Calcium intake can affect the absorption and effectiveness of certain medications such as tetracycline and quinolones.
-Avoid overdose and prolonged use.
- Contraindicated in hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria
-In the case of prolonged use, or taking higher doses, the calcium content in urine and blood should be monitored to avoid overdose.
- Has a laxative effect when taken in high doses due to the presence of sorbitol in the composition.
-Keep out of the reach of children.
