Glycerin (Glycerin)

Each suppository contains:

Glycerin 0.7 g

Auxiliary components:

Gelatin, purified water.

Laxative, softens and lubricates hardened fecal matter, facilitates their passage through the colon, irritates the intestinal mucosa, reflexively stimulating motility.

Symptomatic treatment of constipation of various etiologies.

Rectally, 15-20 minutes after eating.

Children under 3 years old – 1 suppository (0.7 g) 1 time per day.

The duration of use should not exceed 7 days. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually for each patient, taking into account the characteristics of the disease, the tolerability of the drug and the achieved therapeutic effect.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, intestinal obstruction, hemorrhoids in the acute stage, inflammatory diseases and tumors of the rectum, undiagnosed abdominal pain.

Systematic reception is not recommended. Treatment is stopped after the restoration of normal intestinal motility. Do not lubricate suppositories with mineral oils or solid oils.

Allergic reactions, local reactions (itching and burning of the skin). With prolonged use – weakening of the physiological process of defecation.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
