Trimebutin 24 mg
Auxiliary components:
Twien, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sucrose, apple flavor, colodial anhydrous silica, methyl paraben base, propyl paraben base.
Properties:
Trimebutin, acting on the enkephalinergic system of the intestine, is a regulator of its peristalsis. Acting on peripheral 6-, p- and K receptors, including those located directly on smooth muscles throughout the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), it regulates motility without affecting the central nervous system. Thus, trimebutin restores the normal physiological activity of the intestinal musculature in various gastrointestinal diseases associated with motility disorders.
By normalizing visceral sensitivity, trimebut• provides an analgesic effect in abdominal p syndrome.
Indications:
For oral administration:
symptomatic treatment of pain associated with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and biliary tract.
For parenteral use: symptomatic treatment of severe pain manifestations in functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract; treatment of postoperative paralytic ileus and in preparation for X-ray and endoscopic examinations.
Mode of application:
The optimal dosage regimen is determined by the doctor. It is necessary to strictly observe the compliance of the used dosage form of a particular drug with the indications for use and the dosage regimen.
Individual. Daily oral dose.
Children over 2 years old:
Divide 1 ml / kg of child’s weight into 3 doses per day.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to trimebutin.
Pregnancy.
Lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Precautions:
The course of treatment of irritable bowel syndrome in the acute period at a dose of 600 mg per day for four weeks and the continuation of treatment after the course at a dose of 300 mg per day for 12 weeks avoids the recurrence of the disease.
