Composition:

Per tablet:
Empagliflozin — 25 mg.

Description of the product:

Diacurimap is an antidiabetic medication from the group of sodium‑glucose co‑transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors.
It lowers blood glucose levels by reducing its reabsorption in the kidneys and promoting glucose excretion in the urine.
The drug also has beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system and kidney function in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Indications for use:

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (as monotherapy or in combination therapy).
Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with diabetes.
Support of kidney function in diabetic nephropathy.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults: One tablet (25 mg) once daily, regardless of meals.
Follow physician’s instructions and package labeling.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to empagliflozin or excipients.
• Severe renal impairment or end‑stage kidney disease.
• Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Precautions:

Use with caution in patients at risk of dehydration, hypotension, or urinary tract infections. 
Regular monitoring of blood glucose and kidney function is required.

Side effects:

Most common: urinary tract infections, polyuria, thirst.
Rare: ketoacidosis, allergic reactions, low blood pressure.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Contraindicated.
Alternative therapies should be considered if treatment is necessary.

Store in a dry place at temperatures below 25°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
