Properties:

Three 600 is a vitamin D3 dietary supplement when the amount of vitamin D in the diet is not enough. People most at risk for vitamin D deficiency are older adults, breastfed infants, people with dark skin, obese people, and those with limited sun exposure, or gastrointestinal disease

Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is in a class of medications called vitamin D analogs. Cholecalciferol is needed by the body for healthy bones, muscles, nerves, and to support the immune system. It works by helping the body to use more of the calcium found in foods or supplements and to prevent rickets in young children, osteomalacia and osteoporosis.

Indication:

Dietary supplement, source of Vitamin D3.

Dose:

Orally,  0.5 ml daily. Ask a doctor to adjust your dose if needed. 

Side effects:

Call your doctor immediately if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop taking cholecalciferol and call your doctor at once if you have:

chest pain, feeling short of breath;

growth problems (in a child taking cholecalciferol); or

early signs of vitamin D overdose: weakness, metallic taste in your mouth, weight loss, muscle or bone pain, constipation, nausea and vomiting.

Warning and precautions:

• You should not take cholecalciferol if you have had an allergic reaction to vitamin D, or if you have high levels of calcium or vitamin D in your body, or any condition that makes it hard for your body to absorb nutrients from food (malabsorption).
• You should not use cholecalciferol if you have had an allergic reaction to vitamin D, or if you have:

-high levels of vitamin D in your body (hypervitaminosis D);

-high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia); or

-any condition that makes it hard for your body to absorb nutrients from food (malabsorption).

• Tell your doctor if you have ever had:heart disease kidney disease or an electrolyte imbalance.

• The Food Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. 
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. 
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it during pregnancy nor give them to children without consulting a physician.
