Composition:

Active ingredient:
Etoricoxib 120 mg per tablet.
Excipients:
Standard tablet base (microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, magnesium stearate, coating agents).

Product Description:

Torixava is a selective COX-2 inhibitor NSAID.
It provides strong analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antirheumatic effects.
It is commonly prescribed for arthritis, gout, and acute pain conditions.

Indications for Use:

Osteoarthritis (pain and inflammation).
Rheumatoid arthritis.
Ankylosing spondylitis.
Acute gout attacks.
Acute pain (e.g., dental pain, post-surgical pain).

Method of Administration and Dosage:

Adults: 120 mg once daily for acute gout (limited to 8 days).
Osteoarthritis: 30–60 mg once daily.
Rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis: 60–90 mg once daily.
Acute dental pain: 90 mg once daily, maximum 3 days.
Tablets should be taken with water, with or without food.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or other NSAIDs.
Active gastrointestinal ulcers or bleeding.
Severe hepatic or renal impairment.
Cardiovascular disease (ischemic heart disease, stroke, peripheral arterial disease).
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Children under 16 years.

Precautions:

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Monitor blood pressure regularly.
Use with caution in patients with liver, kidney, or heart disease.
Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs.

Adverse Reactions / Side Effects:

Common: headache, dizziness, indigestion, abdominal pain, nausea.
Less common: hypertension, edema, fluid retention.
Rare: severe allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding, cardiovascular events.

Pregnancy and Lactation:

Contraindicated.
Etoricoxib may cause foetal harm and is not recommended during breastfeeding.
