Properties:
Antifungal agent for external and topical use, an imidazole derivative. It has a wide spectrum of antifungal activity. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of the synthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane (due to inhibition of cytochrome P450 isoenzymes).
Active against Epidermophyton, Microsporum, Trichophyton, Candida albicans, Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum orbiculare) and some other fungi.
Indications:
Fungal diseases of the skin (including the skin of the hairy parts of the body) caused by susceptible fungi.
Dosage and administration:
Adults:
Apply externally.
Average dosage – apply once or twice a day for 2 weeks.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to oxiconazole, as well as to other imidazole derivatives.
Precautionary measures:
Not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation.
Side effects:
Possible burning, itching, tingling, erythema, irritation at the site of application.
Storage method:
Store at a temperature not 15-30 degrees.
