Composition:

Salibet ointment contains betamethasone dipropionate, equivalent to betamethasone 0.05% and salicylic acid 3.0%, without preservatives.

Indications:

Salibet ointment is indicated for the treatment of chronic lichenified eczema, lichen planus, lichen simplex and chronic plaque psoriasis.

Properties:

Betamethasone Dipropionate is a synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid. It is active against steroid sensitive dermatoses. Salicylic acid softens the skin, loosens the keratinized epithelium and exfoliates the epidermis.

Contraindications:

Rosacea, acne, perianal and genital itching, hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug.

Precautions:

Use with caution under the age of 18 yo.

Not recommended at the age under 12 yo.

Side effects:

Prolonged use over a large area of damaged skin can lead to local and systemic toxicity.

Method of administration and dosage:

Salibet ointment is applied topically once or twice a day.

Storage conditions:

Store at temperatures below 30⁰ C.
