Rinopro suspension — is used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion, runny nose and other manifestations of allergic rhinitis and colds.
Composition per 90 ml of suspension:
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride — 540 mg
(equivalent to 6 mg/ml)
• Carbinoxamine maleate — 24 mg
(equivalent to 0.27 mg/ml)
Pharmacological properties:
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride — a sympathomimetic that stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors. It has a vasoconstrictor effect, reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa, facilitates breathing, and reduces hypersecretion.
• Carbinoxamine — a first-generation antihistamine, blocks H1-histamine receptors, eliminates allergy symptoms (sneezing, itching, rhinorrhea), has a moderate sedative effect.
Indications for use:
• Acute and chronic rhinitis (including allergic)
• Nasal obstruction due to colds
• Seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis
• Hay fever
• Auxiliary remedy for sinusitis, acute respiratory viral infections
Method of administration and dosage:
Orally, after meals. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• Adults and children over 12 years old:
10 ml 3 times a day (maximum 30 ml/day)
• Children 6–12 years old:
5 ml 3 times a day
• Children under 6 years old:
Use only as prescribed by a doctor.
