Rheuxicam 4 mg 20 tab

ReuXikam is an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic agent containing lornoxicam, a powerful representative of the oxicam class. The drug is used for inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system and other conditions accompanied by pain.

Composition:

• Lornoxicam (Lornoxicam) - 4 mg

Pharmacological properties:

Lornoxicam inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins - mediators of inflammation and pain. Due to this, it reduces inflammation, swelling, pain syndrome and temperature.

Indications for use:

• Arthritis associated with rheumatic diseases.
• Sciatica.
• Lower back pain.
• After procedures and surgeries.
• Pain after injuries, accidents and bruises.

Method of administration and dosage:

For pain relief: 8-16 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses.
For arthritis: Initial dose: 12 mg per day, divided into 2-3 doses.
Maintenance dose: should not exceed 16 mg per day.
Acceptable dose for patients with kidney and liver diseases: The dose should not exceed 4 mg three times a day (i.e. 12 mg per day).
The dosage depends on the severity of the condition and individual tolerance. Prescribed by a doctor.
