Parofen is a combined analgesic and antipyretic drug containing ibuprofen and paracetamol. The drug has a powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect, intended to relieve pain of various origins and reduce temperature.
Composition:
• Ibuprofen - 400 mg
• Paracetamol - 500 mg
Pharmacological properties:
• Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins, reduces inflammation, swelling and pain.
• Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic drug, acts mainly in the central nervous system.
• Combined use enhances the analgesic effect, reduces the need for high doses of each component separately.
Indications for use:
• Headache, migraine
• Toothache
• Muscle and joint pain
• Menstrual pain
• Fever associated with colds or viral diseases
• Pain from injuries, sprains and inflammations
Method of administration and dosage:
• Adults and children over 12 years old:
1 tablet every 6-8 hours as needed.
Maximum daily dose: no more than 3 tablets per day.
• Tablets are taken during or after meals with water.
• Do not use for more than 3 days in a row without consulting a doctor.
