Composition:
Each 5 ml of suspension contains:
Cloperastine hydrochloride 20 mg
Properties:
Cloperastine, an antitussive agent of predominantly central action, consists in selective inhibition of the cough nerve center, which is not accompanied by depression of the respiratory centers.
By inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators and the presence of muscle relaxant and antiserotonin effects, cloperastin has a sedative effect on the peripheral nervous system, which supports cough stimuli.
Indications:
Acute or chronic unproductive cough of various etiologies.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults: 5 ml of suspension 3 times a day.
Children:
2-4 years old, 2 ml 2 times a day.
4-7 years 3 ml 2 times a day.
7-15 years old, 5 ml 2 times a day.
Contraindications:
hypersensitivity to cloperastatin and other components of the drug.
Side effects:
Rare cases of mild gastrointestinal disorders.
Storage method:
At a temperature not higher than 25 degrees.
