Composition (Active and Excipients):

Active Ingredient: Tamoxifen 10 mg per tablet

Excipients: Corn starch, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, gelatin, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide.

Description:

Nolvadex is a hormonal treatment used primarily for breast cancer. It contains tamoxifen, which acts as an estrogen receptor antagonist in breast tissue. By blocking the effects of estrogen, it helps stop the growth of hormone-sensitive cancer cells. Tamoxifen is also used to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer in women at high risk and can be prescribed for infertility caused by lack of ovulation.

Use of anticoagulants such as warfarin.

History of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism).

Not recommended for use in children.
