Antifungal topical shampoo (treatment and prevention of seborrhea and dandruff)

COMPOUND:

ketoconazole 20 mg / 1 g shampoo

PROPERTIES:

Ketoconazole has strong antifungal activity against dermatophytes (fungi) and yeasts. Nizapex Shampoo quickly relieves flaking and itching associated with pityriasis versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor of the head (dandruff). Shampoo Nizapeks does not have a systemic effect, since the absorption of the shampoo through the skin is negligible.

INDICATIONS:

Treatment and prevention of infections: – Localized versicolor;

-Seborrheic dermatitis;

– Pityriasis versicolor on the head (dandruff).

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE:

Apply Nizapex Shampoo to the affected areas of the skin or scalp, leave for 3-5 minutes and then rinse.

Treatment:

– Seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor of the head: 2 times a week for 2-4 weeks.

-Pityriasis versicolor: 1 time per day for 5 days.

PREVENTION:

– Seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor of the head: 1 time every 1-2 weeks.

-Pityriasis versicolor: 1 time per day for 3 days before the onset of summer.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or any of the shampoo excipients.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:

Patients on long-term use of topical corticosteroids are advised to continue topical corticosteroids at the start of treatment with Nizapex Shampoo and then gradually withdraw steroid therapy over 2 to 3 weeks.

SIDE EFFECTS:

In the case of long-term treatment with topical corticosteroids, local irritation may occur immediately after the use of Nizapex shampoo.

STORAGE METHOD:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C, out of the reach of children.
