Composition:

Each tablet contains:

Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) — 250 mg (equivalent to thiamine 223.02 mg)

Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) — 100 mg (equivalent to pyridoxine 82.247 mg)

Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) — 250 mcg

Description:

Neurovit is a combined vitamin preparation containing B-group vitamins (B1, B6, and B12), which play essential roles in carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism, nervous system function, and hematopoiesis. The tablets are round, red, biconvex, and sugar-coated.

Indications for Use:

Vitamin B deficiency

Supportive treatment for neuritis (e.g., isoniazid-induced neuropathy), neuralgia, sciatica, lumbago

Diabetic polyneuropathy

Acute and chronic beri-beri syndrome

Various types of anaemia: sideroblastic, megaloblastic, and pernicious anaemia (when parenteral treatment is not possible)

For adult use only

Dosage and Method of Administration:

Typically: one tablet three times daily after meals with water.

Do not chew.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any component of the product

Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption

Precautions:

For pernicious anaemia, monitor blood counts every 3 months for 18 months, then annually

May mask underlying conditions

Do not exceed the recommended dose

Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding, only under medical advice

Side Effects:

Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain)

Allergic and anaphylactic reactions: pruritus, urticaria, angioedema, respiratory distress, tachycardia, shock

Rare: acneiform or bullous eruptions

Long-term use of high doses of pyridoxine may cause severe peripheral neuropathy

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:

Pyridoxine: Limited data available; caution advised

Thiamine: Not intended for use during pregnancy or lactation

Cyanocobalamin: Should not be used to treat pregnancy-related megaloblastic anaemia due to folate deficiency

Storage Conditions:

Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Packaging:

Carton box containing  3 strips of 10 tablets each, with an enclosed leaflet.
