Muko syrup alcohol-free 100 ml

Composition (in terms of 5 ml of syrup):

• Ambroxol hydrochloride - 15 mg

Pharmacological properties:

Ambroxol acts as:
Mucolytic - reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions
Expectorant (expectorant) - stimulates mucociliary clearance, activates the cilia of the respiratory tract epithelium
Secretomotor agent - increases the production of pulmonary surfactant, which protects the mucous membrane
Moderately reduces the cough reflex in case of irritation of the respiratory tract
The effect occurs 30-60 minutes after administration and lasts up to 10-12 hours.

Indications for use:

Acute and chronic respiratory diseases with the formation of viscous sputum:

– Bronchitis
– Tracheobronchitis
– Pneumonia
– COPD
– Bronchial asthma (as part of complex therapy)
– Bronchiectasis
– Cystic fibrosis

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults and children from 12 years old:
• 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 2 times a day

Children from 6 to 12 years old:
• 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day

Children from 2 to 6 years old:
• 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) 3 times a day

Infants under 2 years old (as prescribed by a doctor):
• 2.5 ml 2 times a day

The syrup is taken after meals with a small amount of water. The course of treatment is usually 5-7 days.
