Description:

Momenta Cream belongs to the class of medicines called ‘corticosteroids’ used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. 

Indications:

Treatment of Swelling, redness, and itching due to Psoriasis or Dermatitis.

Momenta Cream is used to relieve inflammation (swelling), itchiness and redness caused by certain skin problems such as dermatitis or psoriasis.

Properties:

Momenta Cream contains Mometasone, a potent corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itching and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. 

It acts inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. 

When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally.

Directions for Use:

Cream: It is only for external use. 

As advised by your doctor, take a small amount of cream on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area. 

Avoid contact of cream with your nose, mouth or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. 

Wash your hands before and after using cream/ointment if your hands are not affected area

Safety information and Precautions:

-Use Momenta Cream as prescribed. 

-Use Momenta Cream for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition.

-Momenta Cream is for external use only. 

-Avoid contact of Momenta Cream with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Momenta Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. 

-Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation. 

-Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

-Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Mometasone or other medicines. 

-If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Momenta Cream. 

-Momenta Cream is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth. 

-Contact your doctor immediately if you notice vision changes after using Momenta Cream. 

-Stop using Momenta Cream and contact your doctor if your skin becomes sensitive or irritated. 

-Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. 

-Avoid using Momenta Cream for more than five days in children and on the face. 

-Avoid using Momenta Cream in or around the eyes, including eyelids. 

-Do not use Momenta Cream on large areas of the body or for a longer duration.

-Avoid using Momenta Cream for more than 5 days in children and on the face. 

-If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), cold sores, genital itching, chickenpox, shingles, warts, wounds, ulcerated skin, please inform your doctor before using Momenta Cream.

-If you have any concerns regarding using Momenta Cream in patients with liver problems, please consult a doctor.

-If you have any concerns regarding using Momenta Cream in patients with kidney problems, please consult a doctor.

-Momenta Cream is not recommended for children below two years of age.
