Ingredients:

Each Film Coated tablet contains:

Clopidogrel bisulfate 97.854 mg (equivalent to Clopidogrel 75 mg).

Acetylsalicylic acid 75 mg.

Description:

Therapeutic indications: 

Myogrel plus is indicated for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in adult patients already taking both clopidogrel and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA).

Prevention of thromboembolism in patients with myocardial infarction and atrial fibrillation.

Properties:

A combination drug that prevents heart attacks, which contains acetylsalicylic acid, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, binds to cyclooxygenase, which prevents the formation of prostaglandins that stimulate inflammation, pain, fever, and also inhibits platelet aggregation.

Clopidogrel is metabolized after absorption from the intestine, where it produces an active compound that reduces thrombosis.

Method of administration:

You should not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

Adults and elderly Myogrel plus should be given as a single daily 75 mg/75 mg dose.

In patients with ST segment elevation acute myocardial infarction: Therapy should be started as early as possible after symptoms start and continued for at least four weeks. 

If a dose is missed:

Within less than 12 hours after regular scheduled time: patients should take the dose immediately and then take the next dose at the regular scheduled time

For more than 12 hours: patients should take the next dose at the regular scheduled time and should not double the dose.

For Children:

Myogrel plus is not recommended in this population.

Renal impairment:

Myogrel plus must not be used in patients with severe renal impairment.

Myogrel plus must not be used in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

Contraindications:

– Children under 16 years unless specifically indicated under medical supervision.

– Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients

– Severe hepatic impairment.

– Active pathological bleeding such as peptic ulcer or intracranial haemorrhage.

In addition, due to the presence of ASA, its use is also contraindicated in:

– Hypersensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) 

– Syndrome of asthma, minitis, and nasal polyps.

– Third trimester of pregnancy

– Stomach or intestinal ulcer

– Hemophilia or other blood diseases.

– Kidney and liver failure.

Precautionary measures:

It is best to inform your doctor about all medications, herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements before starting treatment. It is not recommended to use simultaneously with the following drugs: anticoagulants, corticosteroids, diabetes medications, methotrexate, serotonin uptake inhibitors, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, diuretics, digoxin, proton pump inhibitors, grapefruit juice.

Side effects:

Nosebleeds, dizziness, headache, anemia, intestinal upset, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain, bleeding.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place.

Keep out of reach of children.
