Composition:

Each chewable tablet contains:

Acetylsalicylic Acid 75mg

Properties:

Asposid is a salicylate NSAID that has a bloodthinning effect.

Indications:

secondary prevention of myocardial infarction; prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with stable angina pectoris; unstable angina pectoris, except in cases of the acute phase. Phase Secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular accidents in the absence o intracerebral hemorrhage. The drug is not recommended in emergency situations. It is

limited to secondary prevention of chronic disease.

Mode of application:

for oral administration, it should be chewed and washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid. Adults: secondary prevention of myocardial infarction: the recommended dose is 75-160 mg once a day. Prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with stable angina pectoris: the dose is 75-160 mg once a day. With unstable angina pectoris, with the exception of the acute phase: the dose is 75100 mg once a day. Prophylaxis after coronary artery bypass grafting: 75-160 mg once a day. Coronary angioplasty, excluding the acute phase: 75-160 mg once a day. Secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular accidents, in the absence of intracerebral hemorrhage: 75-325 mg once a day. Treatment should be reviewed at regular intervals as directed by your doctor.

Contraindications:

Children under 12 years old; hypersensitivity to salicylates and aspirin and other NSAlDs; bleeding tendency; peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer; severe diseases of the heart,

liver, kidneys; pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions:

Aspirin can prolong labor and make premature bleeding when used during the last trimester of pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal diseases (especially elderly patients), strictly under medical supervision. Do not drink alcohol during treatment.

Side effects:

headache, dizziness, confusion, hearing impairment, tinnitus, indigestion (nausea, heartburn, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea), gastric microbleeding, impaired renal function and acute renal failure.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, out of reach of children.

The cardboard box contains 5 blisters of 6 tablets each, paper instructions.
