Aspocid 75 mg 30 chewable tablets
Composition:
Acetylsalicylic acid - 75 mg.
Excipients: mannitol, dextrose (glucose).
Product Description:
Salicylate non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with a blood-thinning effect, preventing platelets from sticking together.
Indications for use:
- Secondary prevention of myocardial infarction.
- Prevention of cardiovascular morbidity in patients with stable angina.
- Unstable angina (except for the acute phase).
- Prevention after coronary artery bypass graft and coronary angioplasty (except for the acute phase).
- Secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular events in the absence of intracerebral hemorrhage.
- The drug is not intended for emergency situations and is limited to chronic diseases.
Method of administration and dosage:
- For oral administration: the tablet should be thoroughly chewed and washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
- For adults, the recommended doses are: for secondary prevention of myocardial infarction — 75–160 mg once a day;
- For stable angina — 75–160 mg once a day;
- For unstable angina (outside the acute phase) — 75–100 mg once a day;
- After coronary artery bypass graft — 75–160 mg once a day;
- During coronary angioplasty (outside the acute phase) — 75–160 mg once a day;
- For secondary prevention of transient ischemic attacks and ischemic cerebrovascular events (without intracerebral hemorrhage) — 75–325 mg once a day.
- Treatment is subject to regular review by the attending physician. Contraindications: Children under 12 years of age, and the packaging also indicates a restriction up to 16 years of age without a special medical prescription.
- Hypersensitivity to salicylates, aspirin, and other NSAIDs.
- Tendency to bleeding.
- Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
- Severe diseases of the heart, liver, and kidneys.
- Pregnancy and lactation period.
Precautions:
- Use during the last trimester of pregnancy may prolong labor and increase premature bleeding.
- Caution and strict medical supervision are required when prescribing to patients with cardiovascular system diseases and gastrointestinal tract diseases (especially elderly people).
- Alcohol consumption is prohibited during treatment. Side effects: Headache.
- Dizziness.
- Confusion.
- Hearing impairment.
- Tinnitus.
- Gastrointestinal disorders (nausea, heartburn, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea).
- Gastric microbleedings.
- Renal dysfunction and acute renal failure.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Use in the last trimester requires special caution due to the risk of bleeding and impact on labor activity.
Storage conditions:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a place inaccessible to children.
