Description:

Melatonin Copad supports normal sleep cycle.

Melatonin is a hormone in your body that plays a role in sleep. The production and release of melatonin in the brain is connected to time of day, increasing when it’s dark and decreasing when it’s light. Melatonin production declines with age.

Ingredients:

Melatonin 5 mg, Pyridoxne Vitamin B6 10 mg, Calcium 63 mg.

Other ingredients:

Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyviny|pyrrolidone Croscarmellose Sodium, Colloidal silicon dioxide, Magnesium Stearate

Properties:

Melatonin naturally helps control your body’s sleep and wake cycles.

It has also been claimed that melatonin has antioxidant effects that can prevent ageing and cancer, but claims aren’t proven. 

Taken as a medicine, melatonin can help reset the ‘body clock’ and help you sleep and wake at the right times.

Direction of use:

Take 1 tablet before bedtime

Contraindication and Precaution:

-Do not use melatonin if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have an autoimmune disorder, a seizure disorder or depression.

-Talk to your health care provider if you have diabetes or high blood pressure.

-Melatonin can cause drowsiness, don’t drive or use machinery within five hours of taking it.

-Melatonin supplements can interact with some types of medicine, including: Medicine that slows blood clotting. Medicine that prevents seizures.

-Not intended for individuals under the age of 18 years.

-This product is not intended to treat insomnia or other sleep disorder.

Side Effects:

Less common melatonin side effects might include short-lasting feelings of depression, mild tremor, mild anxiety, abdominal cramps, irritability, reduced alertness, confusion or disorientation.

Because melatonin can cause daytime drowsiness, don’t drive or use machinery within five hours of taking the supplement.
