Composition:
5 ml of suspension contains:
-Calcium carbonate 375 mg
(Equivalent to 150 mg elemental calcium)
-Magnesium carbonate 207.25 mg
(Equivalent to 50 mg elemental magnesium)
Vitamin D3 100 ICJ
Indications for use:
Food supplement containing calcium, vitamin D3 and magnesium.
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
- Children (6-12 months): half a teaspoon once a day (2.5 ml).
- children over one year old: one teaspoon once a day.
- Adolescents and adults: 2 teaspoons (10 twice a day.
Precautions:
I-Consumption of magnesium salts in some cases can cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and watery diarrhea.
- – Calcium intake can affect the absorption and effectiveness of certain medicines (such as tetracyclines and quinolones).
- – Avoid overdose and prolonged use.
- – In the case of taking the drug for a long time, or in high doses, the calcium content in urine and blood should be monitored to avoid overdose.
- – Contraindicated in hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria.
- – Occasionally constipation may occur, which can be caused by high calcium carbonate content
7- Should not be taken by pregnant women, or
patients with kidney disease, or in conjunction with drugs containing metronidazole or cephalosporins.
- – Has a laxative effect in case of overdose.
- – Keep out of reach of children.
Packaging:
The cardboard box contains a 120 ml bottle and instructions.
Storage conditions :
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 0 C.
