Candicure

Composition:

Each gram of cream contains:

Isoconazole nitrate 10 mg

Excipients:

polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl stearyl alcohol (cetyl alcohol 60%, stearyl alcohol 40%), liquid paraffin, white petrolatum, purified water.

Properties:

A preparation for external use, a synthetic derivative of imidazole. It has a local antifungal and antibacterial effect. It acts fungistatically, with an increase in concentration fungicidal. Suppresses the synthesis of ergosterol and changes the composition of the microbial cell membrane.

Active against dermatophytes (Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Epidermophyton spp.), mold, yeast and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Pityrosporum orbiculare), Corynebacterium minutissium (causative agent of erythrasma) and gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp.).

Indications:

Fungal skin lesions, including secondary infections:

Method of administration and dosage:

Apply the cream twice a day to the affected areas of the skin.

The course of treatment is usually 2-3 weeks, with localization of mycoses in the folds - up to 4 weeks.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Precautions:

The drug is intended for external use only.

If symptoms indicate hypersensitivity or irritation, the drug should be discontinued.

Avoid getting the drug in the eyes. If the drug accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with warm water.

The patient should inform the doctor about the occurrence of any undesirable effects during treatment with the drug.

If there is no effect, the patient should consult a doctor.

Side effects:

Dermatological reactions: rarely - skin irritation (burning and itching, erythema); very rarely - skin allergic reactions.
