Vitamin D3 400 mg

Description:

Coated tablets containing calcium 640 mg and vitamin D 400 FD are used as a dietary supplement when calcium intake is insufficient and to protect bone health.

Properties:

Calcium: It works to regulate many body functions, nerves and muscles, heart functions and blood clotting, in addition to being a necessity for the formation and construction of bone tissue and preventing fragility, it greatly affects the concentration of many minerals and adjust their levels in the blood such as phosphate (calcium works to remove excess from it to the outside of the body), potassium, and magnesium.

Vitamin D3: contributes to the process of absorption of calcium and phosphate from the small intestine, the release of calcium from the bones into the blood and the reabsorption of phosphate by renal tubules, is of great importance in maintaining bone health and preventing fragility, in addition to maintaining cardiovascular and skin health.

Composition:

Each Film coated tablet contains:

Oyster Shell (Calcium Carbonate)

1600 mg (Equivalent to elemental Calcium 640 mg)

Vitamin D3 crystals0.8 mg (Equivalent to 400 IU Vitamin Ds)

Potency: 500,000 IU/g

Dosage:

1 Tablet daily or as prescribed by physician.

Precautions & Warnings:

- Administration of high doses of vitamin D. should be avoided during Calcium therapy unless prescribed.

- Concomitant administration of contortionists may interfere with calcium absorption.

- It is better to avoid administration of oral tetracyclines & Quinolones with carbonates which may lead to reducing its concentration in blood.

- Avoid use by patients with Hypercalcemia & Hypercalcuria.

- To be taken as directed by the physician.

– Occasionally, Constipation may occur with high calcium carbonate intake.

Storage Method:

Store at temperature not exceeding 30° C, in dry place.

Keep out of the reach of children.
