Composition: 

Boric Acid, Terpinen 4-ol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Drago- calm (Avena Sativa), Rice Oil, Vitamin E, Blend of triglycerides.

Properties:

Flugenil 600 vaginal ovules is a medical device co-adjuvant in the treatment of mycotic vaginal infections, even if recurrent. Further to medical advice, it can be used in association with an oral and/or topical antimycotic. Thanks to its composition, it is indicated in cases with itching, redness and irritation caused by infections of mycotic origin.

Hyaluronic acid, with its mucoadhesive properties, moisturizes and protects the vaginal mucosa, while boric acid helps to restore the vaginal pH, maintaining the physiological environment of the vaginal mucosa and protecting it from contamination and pathogen proliferation.

Indications:

Flugenil 600 vaginal ovules is indicated in the following situations:

• aid to treatment of recurrent mycotic vulvovaginitis;
• useful in cases of itching, redness and irritation caused by infections of mycotic origin;
• aid to treatment of mycotic infections associated with local allergic reaction symptoms.

Directions for use:

1. Wash the genital area thoroughly before use;
2. Open the package, wash your hands and remove just one ovule from the blister;

3. Gently insert the ovule in the vagina, easing it in as deeply as possible.

-Flugenil 600 vaginal ovules can be used: during a mycotic infection, one ovule per day for 15 days;

-Subsequently, for recurrent infections, one ovule a day twice a week for 8 weeks.

-Do not exceed the recommended dose without your doctor’s recommendation.

Side effects:

As with all topical products, prolonged use may lead to sensitisation or local irritation. In this case, suspend treatment and consult your doctor or pharma- cist. 

Contraindications:

-Individual hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients;

-First trimester of pregnancy;

-Children’s age

Warnings and precautions: 

• This product is for vaginal use. 
• Do not swallow. 
• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any product ingredient. •This product must not be used in the first three months of pregnancy. If you are planning a pregnancy or if you are pregnant, you should talk to your doctor before using the product.

During the other phases of pregnancy and when breast feeding, if absolutely necessary and no valid alternative treatment is available, the product may be used once you have consulted your doctor and discussed the risk/benefit ratio with him.

• This product is not for pediatric use. 
• Keep the product out of sight and reach of children.

• No interactions arising from use of the product in concomitance with other vaginal products are known. However, simultaneous use of other medical devices or medicinal products for local use should be avoided except when strictly necessary, and under medical supervision.

• Do not use the product if the package is damaged or not perfectly intact when first opened.

• Do not use the product after the expiry date marked on the package.

Storage: 

Store at a temperature below 30°C, protected from light and heat.
