Composition:

• Active ingredient:

Ibuprofen — 800 mg per tablet.

Excipients:

Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate

Flamotal 800 mg is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with pronounced analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects. It is used for pain of various origins, inflammatory conditions, and fever.

Pharmacological properties:

• The drug belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects.
• The mechanism of action of ibuprofen is based on the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis — mediators of pain, inflammation, and fever.
• The high dose (800 mg) is intended for cases of severe pain or inflammation.

Indications for use:

• Acute arthritis (including gout flare-ups)
• Chronic arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis)
• Ankylosing spondylitis and other inflammatory spinal conditions
• Arthrosis and spondyloarthrosis
• Post-traumatic pain.

Dosage and administration:

Adults are prescribed 800 mg 2–3 times per day, depending on the intensity of the pain and individual response.
It is recommended to take the tablet after meals to reduce gastric irritation.
The tablet should be swallowed whole with water.
