Epifenac 100 mg 10 tablets is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with prolonged action, used to relieve pain and inflammation in diseases of the musculoskeletal system and other inflammatory conditions.

Composition:

• Active substance:

o Diclofenac Sodium (Diclofenac sodium) - 100 mg per tablet

Pharmacological properties:

• Inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins - mediators of pain and inflammation
• Has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects
• Form S.R. provides long-term action (up to 24 hours) with a single dose

Indications for use:

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults are usually prescribed 100 mg 1 time per day - preferably after meals, with a sufficient amount of water.
Do not chew or break the tablets, so as not to disrupt the mechanism of prolonged release.
In case of severe pain or morning stiffness, it may be necessary to combine with other forms of diclofenac (for example, suppositories or injections) - as prescribed by a doctor.
