Structure:

Each suppository contains:

Diclofenac Sodium – 25mg.

Auxiliary components: isopropyl myristate, solid fat.

Properties:

Diclofenac sodium belongs to non-steroidal drugs with pronounced antirheumatic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications:

Adjuvant treatment for painful inflammatory ear infections such as otitis media; and throat, for example, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, are used in complex therapy. Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. After the extraction of teeth, tonsils. Painful postoperative inflammation and swelling. Spinal pain syndrome. Treatment of acute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.

Mode of application:

The dose depends on the child’s body weight. Dose range: from 0.5 to 2 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, depending on the severity of the disease. And in the case of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, the dose can be increased to 3 mg per 1 kg of body weight per day, divided into 2-3 doses for 4 days.

Contraindications:

Children under 6 years old; hypersensitivity to aspirin or any other NSAID in history, including those who have asthma, urticaria, or rhinitis attacks caused by aspirin. Patients with peptic ulcer disease, severe heart failure.

Precautions:

It should be used with caution in allergic disorders, in patients with gastrointestinal diseases (especially elderly patients), blood clotting disorders, in patients with renal, heart or hepatic insufficiency. NSAIDs can interfere with kidney function.

Side effects:

Hypersensitivity reactions (especially rash, bronchospasm); gastrointestinal disorders; irritation of the rectum.

Storage:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C, out of reach of children.
