Doxyrazol

Composition:

Each capsule contains:

Dexlansoprazole 60 mg

Auxiliary components:

magnesium carbonate, sucrose, lowsubstitutedhyprolose, hyprolose, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), methacrylic acid copolymer, macrogol 8000, polysorbate 80, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, gelatin.

Properties:

Dexlansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppressing gastric acid secretion by inhibiting H + / K + -AT Pase in the parietal cells of the stomach. Blocks the final stage of hydrochloric acid secretion.

Indications:

-treatment of erosive esophagitis of any severity;

– supportive therapy after treatment of erosive esophagitis and relief of heartburn;

-symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD, including NERD – non-

erosive reflux disease).

Method of administration and dosage:

Inside, the capsule is taken entirely, regardless of the meal.

Treatment of erosive esophagitis of any severity. The recommended dose is 60 mg once a day. The course of treatment is 8 weeks.

Supportive care after treatment of erosive esophagitis and relief from heartburn. The recommended dose is 30 mg once a day. In the studies conducted, the course of treatment was up to 6 months.

For patients with moderate to severe erosive esophagitis, the recommended dose is 60 mg once a day. In the studies conducted, the course of treatment was up to 6 months.

Symptomatic treatment of GERD (i.e. NERD non-erosive reflux disease). The recommended dose is 30 mg once a day. The course of treatment is 4 weeks.

In patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh class B), the daily dose should not exceed 30 mg of dexlansoprazole.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to any component of the drug;

-cooperative use with inhibitors of HIV proteases, the absorption of which depends on the pH of the stomach environment (such as atazanavir, nelfinavir), due to a significant decrease in their bioavailability;

-pregnancy;

• lactation period;

age up to 18 years.

The drug contains sucrose, therefore its use is not recommended for patients with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase deficiency.

Precautions:

If symptoms persist despite adequate treatment, further evaluation should be undertaken.

When taking proton pump inhibitors, which include dexlansoprazole, the risk of gastrointestinal infections, accompanied by diarrhea, caused by Clostridium difficile bacteria, increases, especially in hospitalized patients. This should be taken into account if the patient’s condition does not improve with the treatment of diarrhea. Patients in this case are advised to take the minimum effective dose of dexlansoprazole with the shortest duration of treatment.

Side effects:

From the gastrointestinal tract: often diarrhea, discomfort and abdominal pain, constipation, flatulence, nausea; infrequently dry mouth, vomiting; rarely – oral candidiasis; frequency unknown – edema of the oral mucosa, pancreatitis.

From the liver and biliary tract: infrequently change in the indicators of the functional activity of the liver; frequency unknown – drug hepatitis.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: infrequently – rash, hives, itching; frequency unknown – leukocytoclastic vasculitis, generalized rash, subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus.

From the respiratory system, chest and mediastinal organs: often – infectious diseases of the upper respiratory tract; infrequently cough; frequency unknown – laryngeal edema, a feeling of tightness in the throat.

Storage method:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees. In a dry place.
