Composition:
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) — 200,000 IU (I.U.) in 1 ampoule (2 ml).

Solution for intramuscular or oral administration
Packaging: 2 ml ampoules.
Pharmacological properties:
Regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the body
Promotes normal bone formation
Stimulates calcium absorption in the intestine
Participates in bone mineralization and maintaining immunity.
Indications for use:
Vitamin D deficiency
Rickets in children
Osteomalacia and osteoporosis in adults
Hypocalcemia
Pregnancy and lactation (as prescribed by a doctor)
Threats of vitamin D deficiency with limited exposure to the sun.
Method of administration and dosage:
The dose varies depending on the level of deficiency in the patient and the age group. The usual doses are as follows:
Infants receiving vitamin D-fortified milk: half an ampoule (100,000 IU) every six months.
Children receiving breast milk or milk fortified with vitamin D and children under 5 years of age: 1 ampoule (200,000 IU) every six months.
Adolescents: 1 ampoule (200,000 IU) every six months in winter.
Pregnant women: half an ampoule (100,000 IU) in the sixth and seventh months of pregnancy, and it can be repeated once a month thereafter if the last three months of pregnancy begin in winter or in the absence of sun exposure.
Older people: half an ampoule (100,000 IU) every three months.
Children or adults with gastrointestinal diseases or undergoing treatment with anticonvulsants: half to 1 ampoule (100,000 to 200,000 IU) every three months.
Children or adults in cases other than those specified above: 1 ampoule (200,000 IU) every six months.
Treatment of vitamin D deficiency (rickets, osteomalacia and hypocalcemia in newborns): 1 ampoule (200,000 IU) can be repeated once after 1-6 months.
