Compound:

Each 100 ml syrup contains:

Calcium 0.13 g

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 0.5 mg

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 0.2 mg

Auxiliary components:

Sucrose, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol, glycerin, hydrochloric acid, poloxamer 407, potassium sorbitol, purified water.

Properties:

Combined drug, regulator of calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the body. Reduces resorption (resorption) and increases bone density, making up for the lack of calcium. Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is essential for the mineralization of teeth.

Calcium is involved in the regulation of nerve conduction, muscle contractions and is a component of the blood coagulation system.

Indications:

As a therapeutic and prophylactic agent in conditions of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency in the body associated with malnutrition or with an increased need for calcium and vitamin D3, as well as vitamin B12.

Dosage and administration:

Children from 6 months to 1 year:

Take orally 2.5 ml of syrup 1 time per day.

Children over 1 year: 5 ml of syrup 1 time per day.

Contraindications:

– severe violations of kidney function;

– hypercalcemia (with hyperfunction of the parathyroid glands);

– hypercalciuria;

-urolithiasis disease;

– decalcifying tumors (myeloma, bone metastases, sarcoidosis);

– osteoporosis due to immobilization;

– pulmonary tuberculosis (active form);

– Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Precautionary measures:

Use with caution in patients with renal insufficiency.

During treatment, it is necessary to constantly monitor the excretion of calcium in the urine and the concentration of calcium and creatinine in plasma. In the event of calciuria exceeding 7.5 mmol / day (300 mg / day), it is necessary to reduce the dose or stop taking the drug.

In order to avoid overdose, it is necessary to take into account the additional intake of vitamin D3 from other sources.

Do not use simultaneously with vitamin complexes containing calcium and vitamin D3.

Side effects:

From the digestive system: possible constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain.

Other: allergic reactions are possible; in case of prolonged use, hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria are possible.
