Composition:
Each 5 ml of suspension contains:
250 mg paracetamol
Properties:
Analgesic antipyretic. It has analgesic, antipyretic and mild anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, a predominant effect on the center of thermoregulation in the hypothalamus.
Indications:
Pain syndrome of mild and moderate intensity of various origins (including headache, migraine, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, algomenorrhea; pain in case of injuries, burns). Fever in infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Method of administration and dosage:
Adults:
500mg-1g every 4-6 hours.
Children:
10mg / kg every 4-6 hours.
Children from 3 months -1 year: 60-120 mg.
1-6 years: 120mg-250mg.
6-12 years old: 250mg-500mg.
Contraindications:
Chronic alcoholism, hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with impaired liver and kidney function, with benign hyperbilirubinemia, as well as in elderly patients.
With prolonged use of paracetamol, it is necessary to control the picture of peripheral blood and the functional state of the liver.
Side effects:
From the side of the digestive system: rarely dyspeptic phenomena, with prolonged use in high doses – hepatotoxic effect.
From the hematopoietic system: rarely thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, pancytopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis.
Allergic reactions: rarely – skin rash, itching, urticaria.
Storage method:
In a cool dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.
