Cetal Drops Paracetamol 100 mg /1 ml 15 ml

Composition:

Each 1 ml of solution contains:

Paracetamol 100 mg

Excipients:

Sorbitol, saccharin.

Description:

Cetal is an effective and fast-acting analgesic and antipyretic. The preparation contains paracetamol, which inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX)-1 and COX-2 predominantly in the central nervous system, acting on the pain and thermoregulation centers.

Indications for Use:

Cetal drops are used for the relief of moderate to severe pain and to reduce elevated body temperature.

Dosage and Administration:

Cetal drops are indicated for children aged 3 to 12 months. The recommended dose is 60-120 mg (0.6-1.2 ml) every 4-6 hours as needed, but no more than 4 times a day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol.

The preparation contains saccharin, which is contraindicated in liver dysfunction.

Precautions:

-The drug should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction. 

-The preparation contains sorbitol, which may have a laxative effect. 

-Do not exceed the recommended doses and do not use it in combination with other paracetamol-containing products. If symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.

Side Effects:

Paracetamol is usually well-tolerated in recommended doses, but in some cases, allergic reactions, including urticaria, may occur. Changes in the general blood test—thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, pancytopenia, leukopenia, and agranulocytosis.

Storage Conditions:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

The carton box contains a paper instruction, a 15 ml glass bottle with the preparation, and a measuring plastic pipette.
