Asmatropim 500 mcg/2 ml 20 ampoules

Asmatropim is a bronchodilator for inhalation use.
Contains ipratropium bromide and is used for chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Provides bronchial dilation and facilitates breathing.

Composition (per 1 ampoule 2 ml):

• Ipratropium bromide (Ipratropium bromide) - 500 mcg

Pharmacological properties:

Ipratropium bromide is an anticholinergic agent that blocks muscarinic receptors in the smooth muscles of the bronchi. This leads to relaxation of the bronchial muscles and a stable bronchodilating effect.
The drug reduces mucus secretion in the respiratory tract, improves ventilation of the lungs, and reduces shortness of breath. The effect occurs within 15 minutes after inhalation and lasts up to 6 hours.

Indications for use:

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Chronic bronchitis
• Pulmonary emphysema
• Maintenance therapy for bronchial asthma (in combination with β2-agonists)

Method of administration and dosage:

Inhalation through a nebulizer:

Adults and children over 12 years old:
• Usually 1 ampoule (2 ml = 500 mcg) 3-4 times a day
• The solution is ready for use, does not require dilution
The drug is intended for inhalation use only.
Do not use for oral or parenteral administration.
