Antiflam 50 mg 20 tabs

Antiflam is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent used to relieve pain, inflammation and swelling in various diseases of the musculoskeletal system and other pain syndromes.

Composition:

• Active ingredient: Diclofenac potassium - 50 mg
• Excipients: Corn starch, tribasic calcium phosphate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon anhydrous, sodium starch glycolate, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, iron oxide red, titanium dioxide, talc, carnauba wax.

Pharmacological properties:

Diclofenac potassium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which leads to a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins - substances involved in the development of pain, inflammation and fever.
The drug is quickly absorbed and begins to act within 30-60 minutes after administration, providing rapid pain relief.

Indications for use:

• Arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis
• Back pain, myalgia, neuralgia
• Soft tissue injuries, bruises, sprains
• Toothache, headache, menstrual pain
• Postoperative and post-traumatic pain

Method of administration and dosage:

For oral administration, tablets should be swallowed whole with liquid, with food or after meals. The lowest effective dose is used to control symptoms: the recommended daily dose is 100-150 mg in 2 or 3 divided doses. In milder cases, 75-100 mg per day in 2 or 3 divided doses is sufficient.
For primary dysmenorrhea, the daily dose is usually: 50 - 150 mg. An initial dose of 50 mg is usually sufficient. If necessary, an initial dose of 100 mg can be prescribed with a maximum of 200 mg/day achieved over several menstrual cycles. Treatment should be started at the first signs of symptoms and continued for several days.
For migraine, an initial dose of 50 mg - at the first sign of an attack. If relief does not occur within 2 hours after the first dose, an additional dose of 50 mg can be taken. If necessary, additional doses of 50 mg can be taken at intervals of 4-6 hours, not exceeding a total dose of 200 mg per day.
For adolescents aged 14 years and older, a daily dose of 75 to 100 mg divided into 2-3 doses is usually sufficient. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
