Aironil Syrup 1.5 mg/5 ml 120 ml

Composition:

• Active ingredient:

Terbutaline sulfate (Terbutaline sulfate) – 1.5 mg in 5 ml of syrup.

Aironyl 1.5 mg/5 ml is a syrup bronchodilator from the group of selective β2-adrenergic agonists. It is used to relieve breathing difficulties caused by bronchospasms associated with bronchial asthma, COPD, and other respiratory diseases in adults and children.

Pharmacological properties:

• Stimulates β2-adrenergic receptors of the bronchi
• Provides bronchodilation - expansion of the bronchi
• Reduces airway resistance, improving ventilation.

Indications for use:

• Bronchial asthma
• Chronic bronchitis with an obstructive component
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Spastic conditions of the airways, accompanied by shortness of breath.

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults and children 12 years and older: 2.5 to 5 mg every 6 hours as needed.
Children 6 to 11 years: 1.25 to 2.5 mg every 6 hours as needed.
Children under 6 years: Terbutaline syrup is not recommended for children under 6 years.
The dosage may be adjusted by the attending physician depending on the severity of the condition.
