Properties:
Terconazole is an antifungal agent for topical use. Local agents are safe, quickly create high concentrations on the surface of the mucous membrane, reduce the likelihood of fungal resistance. Despite a short course of treatment, the symptoms of the disease are eliminated in 80 – 90% of cases.
Indications:
Terconazole is used for the topical treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis.
Dosage and administration:
Apply one applicator 5 g once a day before going to bed, the course of treatment is 7 days.
Contraindications:
The use of the drug Terconazole during pregnancy is not recommended, it is allowed only in the first trimester.
Side effects:
There are no systemic side effects. Locally can cause irritation and burning.
