Ventocough Syrup 125 ml

Composition (per 5 ml of syrup):

• Salbutamol – 1 mg
• Bromhexine hydrochloride – 2 mg
• Guaifenesin – 50 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

• Salbutamol is a selective β2-agonist that relaxes the smooth muscle of the bronchi, relieves bronchospasm, and facilitates breathing.
• Bromhexine is a mucolytic that reduces sputum viscosity and improves its transport through the respiratory tract.
• Guaifenesin is an expectorant that stimulates the secretion of respiratory tract glands, facilitating coughing and bronchial clearance.

This combination provides a comprehensive effect for productive cough, especially with bronchospasm and difficult-to-expectorate sputum.

Indications for use:

• Acute and chronic bronchitis
• Bronchial asthma (as part of combination therapy)
• COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
• Tracheitis, tracheobronchitis
• Pulmonary emphysema
• Cough with difficult-to-expectorate sputum.

Dosage and administration:

Adults and children over 12 years:
• 10 ml 3 times a day
Children 6–12 years:
• 5 ml 3 times a day
Children 2–6 years:
• 2.5 ml 3 times a day

The medicine is taken orally, regardless of food intake. Shake the bottle before use.
