Composition:

Each 100 grams of cream contains:

Beclomethasone dipropionate anhydrous 0.025 mg

Miconazole nitrate 2.0 g

Neomycin sulfate 0.5 g

Chlorocresol 0.1 g

Auxiliary components:

Cetyl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, glycerol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol, macron, cetostearyl, purified water.

Properties:

Beclomethasone dipropionate: GCS for topical use. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a prodrug and has a weak affinity for glucocorticoid receptors. Under the action of esterases, it turns into an active metabolite – beclomethasone-17-monopropionate, which has a pronounced local anti-inflammatory effect by reducing the formation of chemotaxis substance (effect on delayed-type allergic reactions). By suppressing the production of metabolites of arachidonic acid and reducing the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells, it inhibits the development of an immediate allergic reaction.

Miconazole nitrate:

Miconazole is an antifungal agent from the group of imidazole derivatives, active against most pathogenic fungi and yeasts.

The mechanism of action is associated with a change in the permeability of cell membranes by suppressing the biosynthesis of ergosterol, changes in the lipid composition of membranes, an inhibitory effect on the activity of oxidases and peroxidases. The accumulation of ergosterol precursors and toxic peroxides leads to the death of the fungal cell.

Neomycin sulfate:

Aminoglycoside antibiotic. Violates protein synthesis, suppressing the formation of a complex of transport and messenger RNA. In low concentrations, it has a bacteriostatic effect (due to a violation of protein synthesis in microbial cells), in high concentrations it has a bactericidal effect (damages the cytoplasmic membranes of a microbial cell).

Chlorocresol:

Antiseptic and disinfectant, chlorine-containing phenol derivative. It has a bactericidal effect. Chlorocresol is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, effective against fungi. Has little activity against bacterial spores.

Indications:

The cream is used for various inflammatory skin diseases:

Method of administration and dosage:

Apply externally with a thin layer 2 times a day.

Contraindications:

Syphilis.

Precautionary measures:

The courses of application of the cream should be limited, and occlusive dressings should not be used for severe eczema and on the face in order to avoid atrophic changes. Beclomethasone dipropionate should be used with caution in patients with severe circulatory disorders, since these patients have developed skin ulcers after using potent topical corticosteroids. Topical use of neomycin in patients with extensive skin damage or perforation of the eardrum may result in deafness.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: itching, rash, hyperemia, edema. Prolonged use of the cream can lead to contact allergies.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.
