Ornidaz 500 mg 10 tablets 

Composition (per 1 tablet): 

Ornidazole – 500 mg. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide. 

Description: 

Ornidaz is an antiprotozoal and antimicrobial drug from the nitroimidazole group. It is effective against trichomonads, giardia, amoebae, and anaerobic bacteria. Used to treat urogenital infections, gastrointestinal diseases, and for infection prevention after surgery. 

Properties: 

Provides strong antiprotozoal and antimicrobial action. 
Highly effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa. 
Rapidly penetrates tissues and infection sites. 
Suitable for treating mixed infections. 
Can be used for both therapy and prevention. 

Indications for Use: 

Infections caused by trichomonads, giardia, and amoebae. 
Anaerobic infections of the pelvic organs, abdomen, and gastrointestinal tract. 
Urogenital infectious-inflammatory diseases. 
Prophylaxis of infections after surgical interventions. 

Method of Application: 

Adults: 1 tablet (500 mg) twice daily after meals. 
Treatment course is 5–10 days, depending on severity. 
Pediatric dosage is calculated individually based on body weight. 
Dosage and treatment duration should be determined by a physician. 

Storage Conditions: 

Store at +5°C…+25°C, in a dry place, protected from moisture and light.
